Dear Friend,
This year I decided to visit Boracay once again for my Birthday. And while searching for the things to do in Kalibo, since this is the airport where I'll be arriving from Manila, I accidentally learned that there's an ongoing festival in Kalibo which is the "ATI-ATIHAN Festival. From that very moment, I told myself that I will not miss this one. Lucky? Nope, maybe Blessed, since this is a feast held annually in January in honor of the Santo Niño. I believe in Santo Niño, as a matter of fact, we have one at home. :) Okay, thisss is it! Arrived in Kalibo Airport at around 12:30pm, Sunday (January 19, 2014, my Birthdayyy) via Zest Air. From the Airport, I rented a tricycle for Php100 that will bring me to the Plaza. And from the Plaza, I walked to the Kalibo Parish Church, maybe 10-30 steps only. After the mass, the Parade has started and below are the photos I've taken. Hope you like these. :))
You know what, I might do this every year. Spend my Birthday in Boracay but need to attend this wonderful feast first. :))
