PAGUDPUD - VIGAN 2014

Dear Friend,

I just want to share my trip to Vigan - Pagudpud. It was Friday night when we left Manila around 9:30. We only had 2 stops, one at NLEX just to buy some snacks & the other at La Union (2am) to buy Redbull. Yeah, you would need a Redbull if you are planning to drive from Manila to Pagudpud. It took us like 11 hours on the road before we reach Pagudpud.

Since the Bangui Windmill is located before our transient house. We had to stop and took the chance to capture this beautiful scenery.

After 30 minutes, we've decided to leave and just come back in the afternoon, to capture these Windmills on Sunset. So we arrived at the transient house at around 9:30am. It has 1 airconditioned room, with 5 beds, good for 8-10pax. It has an airconditioned Sala with flat TV/Cable and one bathroom. There is also a kitchen where we cooked our food. After having breakfast, we slept for few hours and walked outside to see the White Sand Saud Beach.

The water is so fresh and clean. The white sand is like the sand in Boracay/Bohol, yes like Polvoron.hahaha After 11 hours of driving, I can honestly tell that it is worthy. The Windmills, the White Sand beach. Ughh! Perfect place to relax, believe me. The next morning, we left Pagudpud and we went to Vigan for a side trip before going back home.

The famous Kalye Crisologo. Yeah, we've been there! :) The street where you can see all the Ancestral houses built during Spaniard years.

Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of their famous Bagnet! :( It is really delicious, the price ranges from 400-500/kilo. After few hours of walking and photograph, we left Vigan and drove back home. We reached Manila at 2am.

Damage - 3,500/head 8 pax.

PENANG ISLAND MALAYSIA

Dear Friend,

It's been a while I know. My apologies, I've been very busy watching NBA games. lol Well, the truth is I was thinking if I have to post this. The reason is that my company paid all the expenses including the airfare and hotel for this trip. So I don't know what to share like the cost of the room, food, etc. Anyway, please just enjoy the photos below.

Matabungkay Batangas

Dear Friend,

If you are still looking for a beach where you want to spend your Summer holidays, I suggest you go for Batangas. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Manila. The province also has many beautiful beaches and diving spots including Matabungkay in Lian. Matabungkay is just 2-3 hours away from Manila. Take SLEX and exit at Sta Rosa, then drive straight ahead to Batangas. (toll fee is just 175pesos). Ofcourse, I will share you some of my photos to support my claim. So please enjoy! :)

I know you have this question on your mind, "What to do in Matabungkay?" Well, aside from beach bumming, you can rent a Balsa and party all you want inside the Balsa. This costs around 2-3kphp, this is good for 10pax. If you want to try snorkeling, there are boats for rent for only 2kpesos. This includes guggles and float jackets. The boat ride is good for 10pax. There are rooms/houses for rent from 3,500-6k overnight. If you can't find or book on the internet, rest assured that as soon as your feet step on Matabungkay sands, someone will approach you and offer you a house/room.

Again, enjoy & have a safe trip ahead.
